Writing Tips

Tip #1: READ A TON!!!  The more you read, the better a writer you will become.

Tip #2: Brainstorm!  It really helps to get your ideas on paper - even if it's messy and only you can understand it.

Tip #3: Write!  Let that first draft just flow and/or struggle out of you.  Don't correct along the way.

Tip #4: REVISE!  This is my favorite part of writing (other than the brainstorming part).  I revise over and over again.

Tip #5: Don't give up!  If you want an A+ on that paper, or you want to get published - the secret is NEVER GIVE UP!

If you have any other questions about writing, email me at laura@lauraewilliams.com.

Maybe your question will become my next tip!
